Racism
Racism so badly that yo can't even see it.
It is interesting to read the world media go on the attack over the comments made by the Iranian President at the Racism forum. Whilst I don't agree with his style and the way he approaches things, we still should not take away from the facts that he presented, albeit in a very colourful manner.
His point that he was making is that Israel is an apartied state, regardless of what it says and preaches and regardless of the fact that its a domocracy. Palestineans Living in Israel (aka Arab Israeli's) are second class citizens as Israel has declared itself a Jewish state, not an Israeli state. It has tried to rid itself of those million damn Arabs, but they just won't go. So how do we make them want to leave in order to become a puritan jewish State is we hassle harras abuse and detain them at every turn. Now tell me that is not racist. Does it deserve to be wiped off the face of the earth, well maybe the iranian President went a bit far.
To make matters worse on the same day you have the Iranian President saying that, the Israelis issue a decree that they will be demolishing 500 houses in East Jerusalem. Now how in Gods name did the diplomats at the UN fail tomention this yet walk out on his speech. Did they comment on this racist action of domolishing houses of non jews, well of course not as we all live in a yellow submarine. Don't get me wrong feel free to attack the talk of the Iranian President, but don't fail to acknowledge that the Palestineans have rights and are being discriminated.
Look the Middle EAST WAS A HARMONIOUS PLACE PRIOR TO WWI and the occupation by the French and the British. they used divide and Conquer tactics which gave rise to modern day conflicts within the Middle East and within groups within countries in the Middle East.
As for AMEHDINIJAD, well like it or not he was democratically elected so Yes president he is. Contrary to US propoganda Iran actually is a deomcratic Theocracy and whilst the religious body can overide government, the actually government has free and Fair elections (in comparision to the rest of the Middle east) and allows multi parties to run and generally does not have long term presidents as they usually get voted out.
Whichever way you look at it, there is racism from every side. I don't think that racism has much to do with it, it is more an engraned hatred of the other side. The whole middle-east for example has an interesting and controversial past, I can understand all sides (dependant on which view you look from).
What needs to happen is that we need a whole lot of weed, a room that is locked and lock the leaders from all contries in the middle-east in that room until they come up with a solution!
PS: is Ahmadinedschad really a president?
