Australian cricket does a West Indies

Are we the Collapso Kings?

Remember the dominant West Indies cricket team "The Calypso Kings." The thought of playing them brough tears to teams eyes. Bowlers would weep, when they got Greenidge out cos in would come Richardson, further tears were shed when hayes got out cos out would come Richards, lets not foget Lyod Sobers and the lsit goes on.. and the story goes on. Batters would be happy to see off Malcolm Marshall only to be met by Curtley Ambrose. He would move and you would have countrney walsh trudge in. Prior to them you had Holding and Garner, and the list goes on. But what happened when they moved on The Windies became Wimpies and lost there way. Fast forward 2008 Australia the dominat team has lost its way.

Dominating Cricket for obver a decade names like Waugh, Warne, Mcgrath, Gilchrist, Langer Hayden, Martyn, Gillespie, Lee. It started with Names like Border, Boon, Jones, Healy, Taylor and on that was built an empire. ANn empire which fiightened opposition and was compared to the dominant Windies. Teams fell left right and centre defeated in Australia defeated on the home soil no team withstood the onslaught.

But like the Windies, they left the transition to late and the great names held on a little too long basking in there glory forgetting that empires need transition periods and Kings need to pass on the throne before the empire dies. But alas we failed to learn the lesson that the Windies felt. and now we are lying on our Sword. A new team on old has been warriors still trying to hold on and a group of young players starting there careers with a taste of defeat which scars and gives the opposition the psychological advantage.

Tiome for Change has past and now Australian Cricket will face a steep decline unless they act quick.
